Christian Gottlob Meißner (Musicianís Bachís Pupil)

Born: December 1707 (baptised: December 18, 1707) - Geithain, about 30 km south-east of Leipzig, Saxony, Germany
Died: November 16, 1760 - Geithain, Saxony, Germany

Christian Gottlob Meißner was a German musicia, He studied with J.S. Bach in Leipzig between 1723 and 1729, and during this periuod her served as one of J.S. Bachís principal copyists. He was appointed Kantor at Geithain in 1731, and spent the rest of his life there.
