La Salvat Beca Bach (The Salvat Bach Scholarship) fosters the training and career development of young singers through the annual awarding of four scholarships. Launched in 2014 by the BZM Foundation, the scholarship is currently led and sponsored by the Fundació Salvat (Salvat Foundation), with artistic direction and collaboration provided by the BCB Association and the Fundació Bachcelona (Bachcelona Foundation). In addition to supporting professional advancement, the project includes a significant educational component, offering selected singers the opportunity to work with renowned performers and pedagogues. Guest artists have included counter-tenor Carlos Mena, soprano Katharine Fuge, baritone Stephan MacLeod, tenor Benjamin Bruns, and soprano Miriam Feuersinger, all of whom have shared their expertise and knowledge with the scholarship recipients.
Salvat Beca Bach Soloists are the annual winners of the Salvat Grant for Baroque Music, a prominent program designed to train and promote young vocal soloists specializing in the music of J.S. Bach.
