Georg Gulyás (Guitar)

Born: Sweden

The Swedish guitarist, Georg Gulyás, graduated from the College of Music in Malmo in 1990, studied in Alicante, Spain, in 1990-1991, and received his diploma from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 1998. He studied at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris from 1993 to 1998, and at at the Juilliard School of Music in New York from 1998 to 2000.

Georg Gulyás has appeared as a soloist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, and as a recitalist with Bartok Radio in Budapest, Radio France in Paris, New York, Washington and elsewhere. In the last few years he has been regularly on tour to Japan, USA, Russia and Latin America.

Georg Gulyás latest release on Proprius “Albéniz, Ponce, Tárrega” has become a worldwide success and won price as Best Instrumental Album at The 2006 Audiophile Recordings Awards Radio Guangzhou China.
