Josef Loibl (Bass)

Born: 1939 - Schönbrunn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

The German bass, Josef Loibl, studied singing at the High School of Music in Munich then than at Mozarteum in Salzburg.

The high level which Josef Loibl quickly reaches in the interpretation of Lieder worth him several prizes at international competitions. His singing under the baton of renowned conductors, such as Fabio Luisi, oratorios of J.S. Bach, as well as more modern vocal works, has ensured him a great fame. He is also distinguished in Lieder by Johannes Brahms, Schubert, Robert Schumann..
