Jérôme Mondésert (Organ, Harpsichord)

Born: France

The French organist and harpsichordist, Jérôme Mondésert, owes most of his training to Jean Boyer and Harald Vogel for the organ, to Huguette Dreyfus, Françoise Lengellé and Aline Zylberajch for the harpsichord and Jesper Christensen for basso continuo. He successively obtained a regional prize from the Conservatoire National de Région de Lille; then the National Diploma of Higher Music Studies from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon.

Jérôme Mondésert regularly gives concerts as soloist and continuo player and thus participates in the festivals of Sarrebourg, Ribeauvillé, Basse Navarre, Festival Musique et Mémoire in Franche Comté ...

Holder of the Certificate of Aptitude to Professor of Harpsichord, Jérôme Mondésert is professor of harpsichord and basso continuo at the Conservatoire Régional de Nancy. He also teaches at the Académie d'été de Dieppe, as well as Sarrebourg's harpsichord workshop.

In Strasbourg, Jérôme Mondésert is titular organist for the Andreas Silbermann organ (1718) at the Église Luthérienne Sainte Aurélie, and in January 2010 he was appointed titular organist of the Dominique Thomas organ (2007) at the Eglise Réformée du Bouclier.
