The Brazilian contralto, Daniele Oliveira, began her musical studies through the piano, but found her true calling in singing and had the opportunity to develop her technique with names such as Clarice Maciel, Denise Sartori, Neyde Thomas, Enza Ferrari, Carlo Colombara, Eiko Senda and Maria Cristina Kiehr. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Singing from UNESPAR / EMBAP.
In the opera field, she participated in some productions, with emphasis on Menotti's The Old Maid and the Thief (), Georges Bizet's Carmen and also a staged version of Monteverdi's Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda, as Testo. She has been a member of the Camerata Antiqua de Curitiba since 2008. She has been a soloist in works such as Haydn's Stabat Mater and Nelson Mass, George Frideric Handel's Dixit Dominus (with Juan Manuel Quintana), Bassani's Salmi Concertati (with Martin Gester) and Jomelli's Requiem by (with Peter Van Heyghen). In addition, she develops research and performance activities in medieval and renaissance music with her group Illvminata. |
