Jina Park (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: South Korea

The Korean mezzo-soprano, Jina Park (Korean: 박진아), studied at the Staatliche Hochschule fuer Musik in Trossingen Germany, where she graduated with Professor Monika Moldenhauer, and studied with Professor Julia Hamari, Professor Ingeborg Danz, and Early Music with Professor Monika Mauch.

Jina Park is a notable mezzos-oprano for Baroque music in Korea. She has performed with Baroque Ensembles and with Orchestras, in Germany and in Japan, in particular with Helmuth Rilling and with Masaaki Suzuki. She regularly performs as Alto Soloist, in Oratorios and in Early Music.

Jina Park teaches at Yonsei, Hanyang University in Seoul and she is a Professor at Baek-Suk University in Seoul South Korea.
