The German choral conducdtor and church musicia, Christian Thadewald-Friedrich was appointed Kantor of St. Trinitatis Kirche in Ohrdruf in September 2014, at the age of 24, while still a student. He succeeded in this post Kantor Marco Lemme,
who left the post to study the Anglican church music to the UK.
Christian Thadewald-Friedrich is the Director of the Kantorei der Kirchgemeinde Ohrdruf and Artistic Director of Bachtage Ohrdruf. With his choir and Projektchor und -orchester der Hochschule für Musik "Franz Liszt" Weimar he gives concerts of sacred works at St. Trinitatis Kirche in Ohrdruf and in other towns in Thurinigia. |
