The Chilean choral conductor and music pedagogue, Juan Pablo Villarroel, is a former student of the French Alliance. He studied for his Bachelor of Music at the Universidad de Chile and then choral conducting in Germany.
With more than 20 years of experience in teaching choral conducting, Juan Pablo Villarroel has taught courses at the Universidad de Chile (Crecer Cantando) and at the Universidad de Chile, in undergraduate and graduate degrees. He is director of the Camerata Vocal de la Universidad de Chile and the Coro Sinfónico of said house of studies. He has conducted and prepared a vast repertoire for a cappella concerts and in conjunction with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Chile.. |
