For 8 year, from May 2000 until his sudden death in May 2008, he was organist and choir-master of the St. Vitus-Chor Langenbrücken. Since October 2000 he studied at the Staatlichen Musikhochschule in Freiburg, music education and church music with, among others, Professor Helmut Deutsch (organ) and Professor Klaus Hövelmann (choral conducting).
