Cobb Summer Singers (Choir)

Founded: 2006 - Marietta, Georgia, USA

The Cobb Summer Singers, founded by Lynn Swanson in 2006, returns to full programming for 2021 with a gala performance of George Frideric Handel's oratorio Judas Maccabaeus. The Cobb Summer Singers, usually 100-125 members, will be joined by distinguished soloists and professional chamber orchestra.

The Cobb Summer Singers has long been one of the most exciting programs of the Choral Foundation, having presented performances before capacity audiences of works including L.v. Beethoven: Mass in C and Symphony No. 9 in D minor; J.S. Bach: Cantata Christ lag in todesbanden BWV 4; Felix Mendelssohn: Elijah; W.A. Mozart:: Solemn Vespers; Johannes Brahms: Ein deutsches Requiem, and many more.
