Born: Buenos Aire, Argentina

Coro de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires), is a choir with 14 years of experience, directed by Andrés Aciar, who since 2002 has, in addition to his musical direction, vocal work incorporated sound quality that distinguishes the choir. The Choir's a-cappela repertoire includes popular Latin America, Renaissance and American and European Baroque, Classical, Romanti and 20th century music. The Choir has given concerts in recent years with works by J.S. Bach and Felix Mendelssohn accompanied by chamber orchestra. The 2010 repertoire includes Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, Cántico de Santa Teresa by Jorge Fontenla, Cantata BWV 106, Actus Tragicus by J.S. Bach, works by Zoltán Kodály, Renaissance madrigals and popular works.

The activity of the Choir includes choir concerts in academia, theaters, churches and public welfare institutions. The Choir has participated in the 8th edition of the International Choral Competition in Elsenfeld, Germany, in July 2010, earning the bronze medal. In 2011, they performed concerts in the city of Tucumán and shared the stage with the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Choir from South Africa. In 2012, the Choir appeared in the 10th Coral La Pampa, an event declared of parliamentary interest by the Honorable Congreso de la Nación.
