Heidrun Voßmeier (Soprano)

Born: 1985 - Rotenburg (Wümme), Germany

The German soprano, Heidrun Voßmeier, is the daughter of the local church musician in Rotenburg (Wümme). She received there her first musical and singing training at an early age as chorister at the city church, first piano and singing lessons. As a long-time member of the Landesjugendchor Niedersachsen she got more lessons and many new impulses. The summer semester of 2008 included her four-year study of a "cross-curricular Bachelors' degree programs for Music (Piano) and Biology at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover and Leibnitz-Universität Hannover, to be a Master Teacher for higher studies.

In addition to her membership in the Norddeutscher Figuralchor (director Professor Jörg Straube) and the Bach-Collegium Hannover, Heidrun Voßmeier sings solo parts in the area of oratorio. For several years she supports the singing training of the Jungen Chor Ütze.
