Bin ich gleich von dir gewichen,
Stell ich mich doch wieder ein;
Hat uns doch dein Sohn verglichen
Durch sein Angst und Todespein.
Ich verleugne nicht die Schuld;
Aber deine Gnad und Huld
Ist viel größer als die Sünde,
Die ich stets in mir befinde.

尽管我曾迷失过,
但现在我又回来了。
圣子的受难
让我们重获亲近你的路。
我有罪,
但你的怜悯与恩典
远胜于我
