Recorded on open-reel tapes and were kept in the library of William Hess. These were later transferred to cassette tapes and, from these, CD's were made. It is not known if these are the only two sections on tape surviving from a performance of the complete Mass, or whether Mendel conducted only these two sections in a concert (The absence is likely due to missing tapes, which is a great pity.) |
